We were awarded World’s Best Non-Traditional Pizza at the 2017 International Pizza Expo. We make our pizza with slow proofed dough, California cheese, and organic Bianco Dinapoli tomato sauce. We are excited to open our Slice House in the neighborhood in which we grew up. The Burkharts plan to keep everything the same, including offering wood-fired pizza, drinks and a family-friendly environment. They also will be adding some of their own touches, including changing the restaurant’s name to Burkhart’s Pizza and Pub, installing additional televisions and offering some new menu items. Owners Mary and Daniel Laughlin announced they’re retiring and closing the restaurant. While they said they cherished the customers and staff through the years, it’s time to focus on traveling and spending time with their kids and grandchildren, they said. We have also hired an outstanding general manager and kitchen manager, who have many years of experience running similar operations, to help us achieve our goals.

We are thrilled to have my younger brother, Michael Margott, as a silent partner in our venture with Tony’s team.
